This study aims to describe the social, economic, cultural, and health conditions of the community in Pai Village, Biringkanaya Subdistrict, Makassar City. The study employs a quantitative descriptive approach, with data collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews as supporting data. The study included 40 respondents selected using purposive sampling, all of whom were residents of the study area. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics in the form of frequencies and percentages. The results of the study indicate that the community of Pai Village exhibits diverse social and economic characteristics. Based on occupation, the respondents consisted of private-sector employees, civil servants/military/police, educators, self-employed individuals, as well as the unemployed, homemakers, and students. The social conditions of the community are characterized by interactions among residents and the diversity of their backgrounds. From a cultural perspective, the community exhibits ethnic diversity, including Bugis, Makassar, Mandar, and Javanese groups, who interact in their daily social lives and demonstrate processes of acculturation and tolerance. From a health perspective, the community’s conditions were assessed through health complaints and environmental conditions related to sanitation, hygiene, and public health. The results of the study provide an overview of the socioeconomic, cultural, and health conditions of the Pai Subdistrict community, which can be used as baseline data for environmental studies and development management planning that takes community conditions into account.
