Gender equality in Hindu religious education requires learning practices that provide fair access, participation, control, and benefits for male and female sisya. This study analyzes the transformation of religious practices in Nonformal Pasraman in Mataram City. The study used descriptive qualitative research with a field approach. Primary data were obtained from pasraman administrators, mentors, acarya, and sisya, while secondary data were obtained from curriculum documents, activity schedules, photos, and activity notes. Informants were determined purposively based on direct involvement in pasraman activities. Data were collected through observation, in depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with source, method, and theory triangulation. The findings show that transformation occurred in learning patterns, ritual role distribution, and social awareness. Female sisya began to lead prayers and perform in religious spaces, while male sisya were also involved in supportive ritual skills. The transformation remains uneven because of limited gender literacy, acarya capacity, facilities, parental support, and social habits. Nonformal Pasraman can function as a strategic space for developing inclusive and gender responsive Hindu religious education.
