Stri Sesana is one of the classical Balinese manuscripts that contains teachings on the ethics and life of Hindu women. However, studies examining the concept of health embedded in this manuscript remain limited. This study aims to analyze the concept of health presented in Stri Sesana, examine its influence on Balinese women's perceptions of health, and explore its relevance in the context of contemporary health discourse. This research employed a qualitative library research approach using content analysis of the Stri Sesana manuscript and relevant scholarly literature. The findings reveal that Stri Sesana constructs a holistic concept of health by integrating physical, spiritual, moral, social, and psychological dimensions. Its teachings on self-purification, emotional regulation, the practice of dharma, and family harmony promote an understanding of health as a state of balance among the body, mind, behavior, and the relationship between human beings, God, and the social environment. These values remain relevant to contemporary holistic health paradigms and culture-based health approaches. The novelty of this study lies in the reinterpretation of Stri Sesana as a source of indigenous knowledge that provides a conceptual framework for women's health grounded in Hindu theology and Balinese cultural values.
