https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3507

The open government concept has been implemented in Denpasar City based on Denpasar Mayor Regulation Number 28 of 2011 concerning Guidelines for Management of Information and Documentation Services in the Denpasar City Environment. One of them is through the Denpasar Open Data website which supports easy access to information for the public regarding the city of Denpasar. The application of the open government concept in Denpasar City in monitoring and evaluating government openness instruments is considered inadequate so it must be considered optimally. Apart from that, there is invalidity of data sources, thereby reducing public trust. The aim of this research is to analyze the application of open government in improving public services in Denpasar City based on the Denpasar Open Data study. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Research data analysis using Miles and Huberman consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of open government in Denpasar City has gone well, but there are several obstacles found on the main website in facilitating public participation. There are several platforms that do not provide public access to data so they need to be optimized by the Denpasar City Communications, Information and Statistics Department to meet the needs of the community.
Komang Adi Adi Sastra WijayaJuwita Pratiwi LukmanSang Ayu Nyoman Sinta DewiNi Wayan Riani

https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3550

The market economy system, which is part of capitalism, involves power structures to maintain its dominance. Capitalism creates cultural groups based on socioeconomic class, including micro-entrepreneurs. This research focuses on micro-enterprises as a marginalized group in their efforts to improve their standard of living economically facing challenges in selling their products, especially in modern markets. Modern markets are controlled by dominant groups who practice capitalism by regulating the market economy to maintain their group dominance over other cultural groups. This research aims to explore the communicative practices of micro businesses using the Co-Cultural Theory framework in micro businesses located in Jakarta. The research was conducted using phenomenological methodology, interpretative paradigm, and qualitative approach. The results showed that Orbe's communicative practices were not fully fulfilled. Micro business actors have a tendency to communicate individually rather than in groups. Government support for Micro and Small Enterprises to create Substainable Debelopment Goals (SDGs) number 8 which aims to achieve decent work and economic growth has not been fully successful. The success of the communicative practices of shared cultural groups depends on the background, knowledge, culture, capital, and socio-economic conditions of micro-enterprises, there is a tendency for members of shared cultural groups to communicate independently rather than through groups, limited access or no access at all to communicate with dominant groups, and the importance of micro-enterprises having networking with dominant groups and other cultural groups to facilitate the marketing of their products.
Ana IndriastutiMuhammad Fauzi Fitri Andika

Mangrove ecotourism in Tanjungpinang City is a very potential sector to support sustainable development, especially in preserving mangrove ecosystems and improving the welfare of local communities. The background of this study focuses on the importance of effective mangrove ecotourism management amidst various environmental threats, such as deforestation and lack of supporting infrastructure. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of mangrove ecotourism management policies in Tanjungpinang and identify obstacles and opportunities that arise in the process. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through in-depth interviews, field observations, and analysis of related policy documents. This study also uses a policy analysis approach to evaluate the implementation of local government policies. The results of the study indicate that although there are policies that support mangrove ecotourism management, their implementation is not optimal. The main obstacles faced include low local community participation, lack of funding, and limited environmentally friendly tourism infrastructure. In addition, supervision of activities that damage the ecosystem, such as illegal logging, is still ineffective. The conclusion of this study is that mangrove ecotourism management in Tanjungpinang requires improvements in terms of community participation, adequate funding, and strengthening regulations and supervision. Collaborative efforts between government, communities and the private sector are key to success in creating sustainable ecotourism and providing economic and environmental benefits to local communities.
Siyardi FatmoRumzi SaminEdy Akhyary

This study aims to analyze Russia's decision to launch Special Military Operations against Ukraine in 2022 using a Decision-Making Theory approach. The primary background of this research is the geopolitical tension related to Ukraine's potential NATO membership, which was perceived as a direct threat to Russia's national security. The method employed in this study is a qualitative analysis based on a literature review, including official documents, academic articles, and other secondary data sources. The findings reveal that Russia's decision was influenced by a security dilemma stemming from NATO's expansion in Eastern Europe and Ukraine's increasing dependence on the West. From an economic perspective, Ukraine's reliance on Russian energy resources became one of the strategic factors in this decision. The study shows that Russia's decision was driven not only by external factors, such as NATO, but also by internal factors, including domestic political support and strong military capabilities. In conclusion, Russia’s decision to launch military operations was a preventive measure to maintain its influence in Eastern Europe, safeguard its national interests, and prevent Ukraine from joining NATO, which is perceived as a long-term threat to Russia's security.
Putri Diah Wahyuningtias Prihandono Wibowo

Work discipline is an important aspect in the performance of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as public servants. However, the level of ASN discipline is still a challenge, with various problems such as non-compliance with work rules, lateness, and lack of responsibility. This study aims to improve ASN discipline through a self-awareness approach. Self-awareness is the ability to understand strengths, weaknesses, emotions, and self-motivation that can encourage ASN to improve self-control and responsibility for those assigned. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving a number of ASN in the district government environment as respondents. The intervention provided was in the form of training and guidance to improve ASN self-awareness in the context of professionalism and work discipline. Information was collected through questionnaires before and after the intervention, and analyzed using statistical tests to see significant changes in the level of work discipline. The results of the study showed that after the self-awareness intervention, there was a significant increase in ASN work discipline, especially in terms of compliance with rules, increasing time effectiveness, and individual responsibility. ASN who have high self-awareness tend to be more disciplined and responsible in carrying out their duties, because they have a better understanding of the impact of their behavior and performance on public services. In conclusion, increasing self-awareness can be an effective strategy in improving ASN work discipline. This finding provides an important influence for the government in designing training and development programs that not only focus on technical skills, but also on psychological aspects such as self-awareness. Thus, it is hoped that ASN discipline and performance can continue to be improved in order to support the creation of better and more efficient public services.
Rhendra Kusuma

https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3657

This research examines and analyzes the influence of flood disasters on economic growth and poverty in Indonesia. The study has compiled flood data from government agencies for the period of 2014-2022, especially from the Indonesian National Statistics Authority and the National Agency for Disaster Management. Using the quantitative method, this study has employed Full Generalized Least Square to analyze the flood data further and studied their impact on economic growth. Natural disasters have disrupted critical economic activities, including investment and tourism, and certainly affect employment opportunities. This study underscored the importance of strategic disaster managements that deal with social and economic issues, namely supervision and control, socio-economic strengthening, hydrological and preparedness information systems, disaster resilience infrastructure, spatial planning, and risk mapping, as well as forest and land rehabilitation. It is expected that such government interventions could enhance the reciprocal synchronization of data and the information needed, which is crucial to equalizing the components of Hazard, Capacity, and Vulnerability, especially between Ministries and institutional partners. Moreover, optimizing the analysis of regional development projections and spatial planning is necessary. It includes the use of more comprehensive data and information regarding existing disaster management programs and their implementation. By this, a comprehensive analysis can be carried out and investment needs can be identified. This also includes consideration of climate change aspects in disaster hazard analysis. There is still a need to synchronize flash flood disaster hazard data into analysis, as well as synchronize and share data between both parties for capacity and vulnerability components.
Indra Suryadi IlyasCatur Susilo RahardiAndi Kurniawan

People with disabilities often face challenges in fulfilling their rights, including the right to worship in mosques. This research aims to investigate the worship accessibility for people with disabilities in the Tana Luwu area and the role of religious mosque authorities in supporting the fulfillment of the religious rights of people with disabilities in Tana Luwu. This is qualitative research with case study approach, where the researcher interviewed five individuals with disabilities and three mosque authorities. Additionally, the researcher observed several mosques and collected relevant documentation. The research results show that people with disabilities in Tana Luwu face difficulties in accessing mosques in the area due to the lack of disability-friendly facilities. However, the absence of disability-friendly mosque facilities can be overcome with positive attention from mosque authorities and Jemaah or congregants. In general, physical barriers do not pose a significant obstacle for people with disabilities to worship because of the social support they receive from the surrounding community. Discussions about the religious rights of people with disabilities should be expanded, and real improvements in mosques are needed to make them inclusive places of worship.
Muhammad Ashabul KahfiFitriani Jamaluddin

This study aims to find out the communication patterns formed in family communication between daughters and single fathers with the help of other family members' roles in it. This study uses a narrative study approach with a constructivist paradigm to explore individual experiences and the meanings they build in their communication interactions. The informant in this study is a daughter who no longer has a mother because she died and lives at home with other family members. The results of the study indicate that the communication pattern between daughters and single fathers in this study is protective, where the communication pattern is oriented towards high conformity and low conversation. One of these is the discovery of a communication barrier, where daughters feel unable to freely open up to single fathers without a communication bridge such as other family members in the communication between them so that daughters feel less heard because fathers choose to maintain good relationships so that future conflicts can be avoided. This study also emphasizes the importance of additional supporting data in narrative studies, such as follow-up interviews, to provide a more comprehensive picture of the dynamics of communication in families between daughters and single fathers with the help of other family members' roles. By understanding the factors that influence the formation of this communication pattern, this study is expected to contribute to the development of better communication strategies in families with single parent conditions, especially single fathers, and provide insight for practitioners and researchers in the field of family communication. This study also provides practical significance for intervention efforts and social support for families facing similar challenges.
Annisaa Aprilia PuspitasariMeisyi Naishilla Defti PratiwiYulia Putri Kartika Permatasari

Gender equality has become an essential part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 5, which emphasizes the empowerment of women in managerial sectors. In Indonesia, although there has been an increase in women's workforce participation, gender disparities persist, especially in managerial positions. This study aims to explore the impact of SDG policies in enhancing women’s participation and career promotion in managerial positions in Indonesia. Using a literature review method, the study collects and analyzes various academic sources and policy reports related to women. The results show that SDG policies, particularly Goal 5 on gender equality, play an important role in increasing women's participation in managerial positions by fostering an inclusive work environment. Training programs and work flexibility help eliminate barriers, strengthen women’s roles in decision-making, and contribute to both company performance and economic growth. Despite progress in increasing women's participation, significant challenges remain, such as wage gaps, gender stereotypes, and structural barriers that prevent women from reaching leadership positions. This study highlights the need for more effective strategies and collaboration between the government and private sector to address these obstacles and strengthen women’s roles in the workforce, in line with SDG 5, which emphasizes gender equality and women’s empowerment across all sectors.
Dwi Nurmatin Shantya ViratamaSri TiatriJelien AfendiRosa HannandiraHarvi Wahyu PutriadiSherly Amanda Aprilia Putri

Indonesia is currently faced with significant environmental problems stemming from industrial activities, deforestation, and peatland burning, which substantially increase greenhouse gas emissions and accelerate environmental degradation. This paper aims to analyze an extensive review of the literature related to regulations and policies on climate change, within international and national legal frameworks. The paper also further explores significant advances in environmental law related to climate change, covering issues such as human rights, climate litigation, and the obligations of sovereign states and corporate entities. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method based on the Integrated Literature Review (ILR) approach, which focuses on the intrinsic logic and coherence of legal documents in general. The results of the analysis show that a legal perspective is increasingly important in addressing climate change, given that laws, treaties and regulations can take a central role in mitigating and adapting to the impacts of climate change. Specifically, climate change law encompasses a wide array of legal instruments and mechanisms at the international, national, and local levels, all of which aim to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, increase climate resilience, and promote climate justice. In conclusion, this study, climate change has emerged as an urgent global challenge that requires legal and regulatory interventions at various levels. In addition, the legal perspective plays an important role in explaining the roles and responsibilities of the state, individuals, communities, and the private sector in the field of climate change mitigation and adaptation. As a recommendation to strengthen climate policy in Indonesia, it is imperative to advocate for legal reforms that are responsive to international advancements and improve the capacity of the judiciary in handling environmental litigation, thereby facilitating effective implementation of climate change law.
Tomi SetiawanMuhammad Hammam MughitsHilman Abdul Halim

The transformation of education in the era of Society 5.0 demands the integration of the latest technology to create effective and relevant learning. Especially for a professional teacher as a learning innovator who should have multiple skills. In the destructive era, a fundamental change needs to be made by professional teachers. This research aims to develop a Spatial.io-based virtual classroom model to improve the multiskills of Teacher Professional Programme (PPG) students through a systematic approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Spatial.io, as a three-dimensional (3D) space-based immersive platform, is designed to support collaborative interaction, creative exploration, critical thinking, and experiential learning, which are key in equipping students with communication, technology, and problem-solving skills. The dynamics of physical, social, and cultural geography diversity necessitate a collaborative classroom that can facilitate prospective social studies teachers to study together by bringing out the characteristics of their respective environments. This study involved the development and implementation of the Spatial.io virtual classroom prototype which was tested on PPG students in various regions of the archipelago. The results showed that the integration of the ADDIE model in the development of this virtual classroom ensured a learning design that was responsive to student's needs and the local context. The evaluation phase showed significant improvements in learning engagement, collaborative ability, and multiskill mastery, compared to traditional online learning methods. The Spatial.io-based virtual classroom model designed through the ADDIE approach provides an innovative solution in supporting educational transformation in the digital era. This study suggests wider implementation and customization for various learning contexts, to create a competent, adaptive, and globally ready workforce.
Purwanto PurwantoR. https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3738

This study examines the widespread rejection of the Job Creation Law in Indonesia by applying policy implementation theory to understand the root causes of public resistance and evaluate government efforts to address these issues. Passed in 2020 using the Omnibus Law approach, the law aims to streamline regulations to boost investment and economic growth. However, the study reveals significant objections from various societal groups, especially workers, due to perceived threats to labor rights, environmental protections, and public participation during its formulation. Using a qualitative literature review method, the research identifies key factors driving resistance, including inadequate transparency, limited stakeholder involvement, and distrust toward the legislative process. The findings show that the law is seen as prioritizing business interests at the expense of workers' welfare and environmental sustainability, exacerbating public dissatisfaction and leading to mass protests across Indonesia. The study underscores the need for effective public communication, inclusive policymaking, and a stronger focus on social welfare to build trust and improve acceptance. Recommendations include increased outreach, revision of contentious provisions, and strengthened collaboration between the government and stakeholders. These steps are critical for achieving a balance between regulatory reform and public trust while addressing Indonesia's socio-economic challenges.
Milwan MilwanRoman Hadi Saputro

In private higher education institutions (PHEIs) with various cultural, social, and gender diversity, community solidarity is a significant aspect of developing a harmonious and productive working atmosphere. The aim of this study is to explore how multicultural awareness, social practices, and gender equality influence community solidarity through humanistic values among administrative staff at PHEIs in Bandung. The study is quantitative in nature, using self-administered questionnaires as primary data. This research is descriptive quantitative with a purposive sampling method and a population of 500 administrative staff in PHEIs in Bandung City. A margin of error of 5% with the Slovin formula was used to determine the sample size, which was 223 respondents representing the population. Such data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via the SmartPLS 3.0 statistical application. Findings indicate that multicultural awareness, social practices, and gender equality had a significant direct positive effect on community solidarity. Also, humanistic values act as a partial mediator of these relationships, reinforcing the effect of three independent variables on community solidarity. Building an inclusive, collaborative, and trusting community solidarity requires fostering humanistic values, such as respect for human dignity or social responsibility. This study concludes that policies that support multicultural awareness, active social practices, and gender equality can improve community solidarity in each PHEI in Bandung City. The results offer practical implications for PHEI administrators in developing a more harmonious workplace and add to the academic literature on the significance of humanistic values as a partial mediator of the relationships of variables.
Hedi SetiadiEma AmbiapuriNur Aini ParwitasariDarul Wiyono

This research is motivated by the importance of using precise and unambiguous language so that it can be well understood by the public. The data of this study were taken from political news uploaded by Kompas.com during August 21-23, 2024 related to the Constitutional Court's decision Number 70/PUU-XXII/2024 regarding the minimum age limit for regional head candidates. The aim is to analyze the media framing in reporting the issue using the Zhongdang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki framing analysis model. The results of the analysis found several terms that describe uncertainty and critical terms to emphasize the social impact of dynastic politics and political interests that benefit certain parties. Uncertainty is a framing raised by Kompas.com to form a narrative of transparency related to the unfinalized legal process and create a discourse of public supervision highlighted through the “Kawal Putusan MK” narrative. The reaction of public protests is an important consideration, especially for Kompas.com, which can strengthen the narrative of political favoritism carried out by the DPR, which is considered to open the way for dynastic politics for Kaesang, who has prepared himself by taking care of the letters related to the requirements for the 2024 Pilkada candidates.
Cintya Dewi SartikaDadang S.
In the context of football, acts of discrimination represent one of the biggest obstacles to creating an inclusive environment that ensures equality and fairness for all stakeholders in the sport. As an effort to anticipate discriminatory actions, UEFA employs social campaigns to promote inclusive values and norms within the European football ecosystem. This study aims to explore the reasons why UEFA has used campaigns between 2019 and 2023 as a preventive measure against discrimination in European football. Using the concept of social inclusion in sports and a qualitative approach, the research reveals that UEFA utilizes campaigns to address various structural issues that give rise to discrimination in European football. Furthermore, these campaigns also have implications for the football ecosystem by demonstrating the internalization of inclusive norms, concretely implemented through policies, programs, and regulations. These efforts are analyzed in the context of two countries chosen to represent the European football ecosystem: England and Spain.
Immanuel Josua H. SilitongaHenny Saptatia Drajati Nugrahani

The rapid advancement of surveillance technology, particularly the adoption of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), has revolutionized public safety measures. In Makassar City's Lorong Wisata, CCTV serves as a critical tool for monitoring public spaces, reducing crime, and enhancing the sense of security. This study aims to explore the effectiveness and challenges of CCTV implementation as a digital surveillance mechanism. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations involving local government officials, law enforcement, and community members, analyzed with NVivo 14 software. Results indicate that CCTV has significantly improved public safety by deterring crime and facilitating law enforcement investigations. However, concerns about privacy infringement and the psychological "chilling effect" are prominent, as constant surveillance influences community behavior and limits personal freedom. Furthermore, the potential misuse of collected data raises additional privacy concerns. This study emphasizes the importance of transparent regulations, active community engagement, and periodic evaluations to balance public safety and individual privacy. Holistic approaches integrating technology with social reform are necessary to ensure effective and ethical surveillance practices.
Andi Ainun Juniarsi NurWahyu GunawanYogi Suprayogi Sugandi

The cosplay trend has quickly developed into a subculture in Indonesia, especially among teenagers. This research aims to see how the cosplay phenomenon influences the development of interpersonal communication. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to achieve this goal. This approach was adopted to understand cosplayers' experiences and interpersonal communication perspectives thoroughly. Data was collected using several stages, including in-depth interviews with cosplayers, direct observation of their interactions in various cosplay scenarios, and joint documentation with them after the interview process was completed. Data processing and analysis are linked to interpersonal communication theory according to Joseph A. Devito to achieve effective interpersonal communication with the main characteristics, namely openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude, and equality. The results of this research show that there are differences in interpersonal communication between cosplayers when wearing costumes and when they are not. In addition, this research found that cosplay activities help cosplayers' self-development, especially in terms of communication skills.
Audina ChairunisaAzwar Azwar

The enactment of Law Number 12 of 2022 on Sexual Violence Crimes (UU TPKS) aims to provide comprehensive protection for victims of sexual violence, including in higher education institutions. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of UU TPKS at the University of Palangka Raya (UPR), specifically assessing campus preparedness, the effectiveness of reporting mechanisms, the level of awareness among the academic community, and identifying socio-cultural challenges in its enforcement. A normative legal research approach was employed by analyzing relevant legal norms, regulations, and doctrines related to campus sexual harassment. The findings reveal that the reporting system for sexual violence at UPR remains suboptimal. Victims are often reluctant to report due to fears of social stigma, academic repercussions, and lack of trust in existing mechanisms. The level of awareness among students and lecturers regarding UU TPKS and its protective measures is still low, further hindering the effective enforcement of the law. Socio-cultural barriers, such as patriarchal norms and victim-blaming, exacerbate the situation. This study concludes that strengthening a secure and confidential reporting system is crucial, accompanied by increased awareness through continuous socialization programs. Collaboration with external institutions is essential to support victims and create an inclusive, victim-oriented system. Additionally, the university must address cultural barriers by fostering a transformation toward an academic culture free from sexual violence. Effective implementation of UU TPKS requires a holistic approach integrating law enforcement, institutional support, and cultural change to create a safe and just campus environment for the entire community.
Siti Amalia RahmadaniRollys SurianiNuraliah Ali

https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3790

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Integrated Stunting Reduction Acceleration Program policy in Sidoarjo Regency using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research employs Policy Implementation theory, which encompasses communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The qualitative research method used is descriptive, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that policy communication has been effectively conducted, although significant challenges remain at the village level, particularly regarding public understanding and participation. Human and non-human resources are considered adequate; however, their distribution remains uneven and requires improvement to achieve optimal effectiveness. The implementers' disposition shows a high level of commitment to the program, but transparency in policy implementation remains a challenge to be addressed. The bureaucratic structure has supported coordination among stakeholders, although some procedures are perceived as overly complex and need simplification to improve implementation efficiency. The implementation of the Integrated Stunting Reduction Acceleration Program in Sidoarjo Regency reflects the local government's strong commitment to addressing nutritional challenges through a holistic approach. This program targets a reduction in the stunting rate to 14% by 2024, employing various measures such as the Bangga Kencana Consolidation, Convergence of Stunting Reduction Acceleration, and intensive public awareness campaigns. Regular evaluations have shown positive results, including a significant decrease in the stunting rate from 16.1% in 2022 to 8.4% in 2023. By integrating relevant sectors and actively involving the community, this strategy has proven effective in creating an environment that supports optimal child growth. With improvements in these three aspects, the effectiveness of policy implementation is expected to increase, enabling the program to have a more significant impact on reducing stunting rates in Sidoarjo Regency.
Fajar MuharramSiti CholifahPurnama Julia Utami

https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3688

Truth is an issue that cannot be separated from all human actions in their lives. However, in line with the development of human thought, truth becomes an issue that continues to be questioned in line with its development by viewing truth from many perspectives that are relative to its truth. The existence of relative truth has consequences that place evil can also be viewed relatively, thus making humans victims of themselves. This study is an attempt to uncover historical objects in the form of literary works written by Ronggowarsito as the last Javanese poet, entitled Serat Kalatidha. This study is a library research using a philosophical approach in achieving local wisdom concepts that reveal the messages conveyed by Ronggowarsito whose lifetime was directly confronted with the Western paradigm of thought brought by European colonialists in order to control their colonies. The paradigm that causes problems in society is caused by how rationality is placed as the peak of human intellectuality, but on the other hand rationality is also the basis for the paradigm of secularism and relativism. Relativism is a paradigm based on realism in truth is a thought with forms of justification that limit the relative view to the worldly and material. This makes rationality open to being influenced by lust in making justifications that become human policies and actions. Ronggowarsito through his literary works, does not reject rationality, but is criticized and at the same time emphasized that rationality must be surpassed in order to avoid the influence of lust that traps relative morals and its 'justifications', as Javanese civilization has had the principle of absolute truth through an eling lan waspada attitude as an epistemological path to achieving awareness of the existence of spirituality in achieving the truth.
Mohammad Eka YuliantoArqom KuswanjonoAgus Himmawan Utomo

https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3656

This study analyzes the traditional gender conceptions within the Sundanese community in Cikembang Village, West Java, explores the factors that shape these conceptions, and examines their impact on the community’s post-disaster management. Indonesia is prone to disasters, especially in West Java, where most of the Sundanese community resides. In 2021, a flash flood disaster occurred in one of the rural areas of West Java, namely in Cikembang Village. Gender as part of the socio-cultural structure influences how communities experience and respond to disasters, therefore, it is very important to study disaster events from a gender perspective. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a case study approach, and the data was collected through in-depth interviews and observations. This study shows that the Sundanese community has traditional gender conceptions, assigning distinct responsibilities to men and women. Men are seen as leaders and providers, while women are expected to nurture and fulfill reproductive roles. These gender conceptions are shaped by socio-cultural values and Islamic religious teachings. The rural context of Cikembang further solidifies the dominance of these traditional gender conceptions. These traditional gender conceptions greatly affect labor division in community post-disaster management. Men's dominance in leadership results in women's underrepresentation in decision-making, minimizing their contributions. It is essential to understand gender dynamics in disasters and recognize women's roles in resilience, as this can reveal how socio-cultural factors influence disaster-related social dynamics.
Fathimah ShidqiOekan S AbdoellahBudiawati Supangkat

The measurement of spatial thinking skills (KBS) in Indonesia requires adjustments to align with the historical context and local conditions. In geography education, the measurement of KBS generally focuses on the dimension of spatial relationships, although research shows that KBS encompasses various distinct spatial skills. Testing for specific skills does not necessarily reflect other spatial abilities, and the significant differences in measurement methods often lead to inconsistencies in findings. Furthermore, KBS research in Indonesia is not connected to its development context in Western countries and has not undergone a structured adaptation to the local culture and environment. This study aims to map the test instruments used and evaluate the practices of measuring KBS in geography education in Indonesia. The literature review follows the PRISMA 2020 procedure, as adapted by the author, with 100 articles meeting the criteria, including 28 conference papers and 72 journal articles. Most studies employ instruments developed independently, while standardized instruments for repeated use are rarely applied. KBS test instruments can be classified into seven types with two approaches. The measurement of KBS is conducted with descriptive, causal, interrelational, and instrument development objectives. Despite the variation in measurement methods, the conclusions drawn tend to be uniform, which necessitates scrutiny of the content validity of the instruments. Additionally, the measurement of KBS is often limited to the dimension of spatial relationships, with research directions being difficult to map due to the unstructured adaptation process. This study recommends reaching a consensus on the concepts, methodologies, and measurement standards that align with the local needs in Indonesia.
Lucky Airlangga Al-BukhoriPurwanto Purwanto

Kidung Jerum as part of Balinese literature has developed widely with its function as a medium for ceremonies, especially bhuta yadnya. In the midst of its popularity, the story of Kidung Jerum is not widely known by the general public because in the process of singing it only a few verses are taken. As an effort to popularize the story of Kidung Jerum to a wider area, a media conversion was carried out. The process of converting Kidung Jerum into the Jerum novel is a creative process that can expand the scope of reading traditional literary works. In the form of a novel, the story of Ni Jerum and Kundangdia has a wider target audience both locally and nationally. This change in form is something interesting that is important to study in a study, whether the Jerum novel immediately imitates Kidung Jerum, is there a creative process in the form of character and story expansion, is the ideology in the kidung also inherited into the novel? Of course, all these questions will be answered in the discussion of this study. The purpose of this study is to reveal the extent to which the Jerum novel is dependent on adapting the story of Kidung Jerum. In this study, the theory used is intertextual theory. The method used to support this research is the comparative method. This method is done by carefully reading both works and comparing them to see how the transfer of ideology from kidung into the novel. The results of this study show the sustainability of the construction of the network structure that forms kidung Jerum in the novel Jerum, secondly, the transformation of the main motifs of kidung Jerum (hypogram) into the novel Jerum (apogram) in the form of the motif of the command to marry, the motif of the emergence and acceptance of love, the motif of post-death, the motif of revenge, the motif of life again.
I Wayan Juliana
