This trend, rich in Korean culture, has become global and developed rapidly. The research method applied in this study is a Bibliometric Analysis review, using more than 50 scientific articles sourced from the Scopus database, which were then analyzed and visualized using Vosviewer, Nvivo, and Mendeley applications. The study results reveal that consumer behavior among K-pop fans is increasing and is driven by social media as a form of technological advancement. Advanced technology makes it easier and faster for things to spread, including the Hallyu Wave. This has made K-pop culture increasingly beloved worldwide. This phenomenon can influence people's lives globally, especially in a consumerist culture. This culture or phenomenon's entry also impacts K-pop fans positively and negatively. The article has a limitation in that the scientific data used is sourced only from the Scopus database, which means the findings of this study cannot be described comprehensively.
2024-08-03T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Oshima Vicky Arriyuka, Gonda Yumitro (Author)https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3473Nilai Moral Tokoh Utama Film Our Times《我的少女时代》Karya Frankie Chen2024-07-12T13:11:25+00:00Leonita Agustineyohan_ya@yahoo.comYohan Yusuf Arifinyohan_ya@yahoo.com
Movies nowadays not only serve as entertainment but also function as a means of communication to convey messages and life values to the audience. This era is marked by technological advances that integrate the physical, digital, and biological worlds, thus providing a new platform for student activism. Student activists not only act as agents of change through social and political activities, but they also use digital technology to expand their influence. The research uses a survey method with structured questionnaires distributed to UINSU student activists, as well as a qualitative approach to gaining an in-depth understanding of their views, attitudes, and experiences of socio-political change. Research findings indicate that student activists effectively use social media and digital technology for campaigns and mobilization. Through social media and internet platforms, activists can quickly mobilize people and draw attention to key topics such as gender equality, climate change, and human rights on a global scale. In the digital age of 5.0, student activists can also more successfully challenge existing forces by using digital tactics, including online campaigns, digital petitions, and online boycott movements, in addition to conducting physical demonstrations in public spaces. They not only use technology as a tool of struggle, but also as a new space for building critical awareness and solidarity. However, the research also finds challenges faced by student activists, such as the spread of disinformation and hoaxes, digital gaps, and technology access. Nonetheless, student activists continue to adapt quickly and innovate to overcome these barriers. The study provides significant insights into the role of digital technology in student activism and its implications for healthy political participation in the digital age 5.0, as well as solutions to strengthen the integrity of democracy at the local level.
2024-08-03T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Icca Bela Syahputri, Katimin Katimin (Author)https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3482Kontribusi Nilai Islam Pada Program Instalasi Pengelolaan Air Limbah Berbasis Masyarakat Di Lingkungan 01 Kelurahan Tanah Seribu2024-07-19T12:06:11+00:00Syindi Putri Padillasyindi0103202040@uinsu.ac.idMuaz Tanjungmuaztanjung@uinsu.ac.id
Disposal of waste water which is a basic sterilization to oblige the kitchen to waste water and other waste. This research aims to discuss the transition of ascetic practices due to Islamization on the slopes of Mount Kumbang from the 16th century to the present. The research focuses on the narrative of the encounter between pre-Islamic asceticism and Islamization, the forms of cultural reconciliation between pre-Islamic traditions and Islam, and how the ascetic community on Mount Kumbang has been politically portrayed in the process of Islamization. The historical method, encompassing heuristic processes, criticism, interpretation, and historiography, was employed in this research. The results demonstrate that the encounter between pre-Islamic asceticism and Islamization proceeded peacefully and was full of reconciliation. The narrative of Islamization and pre-Islamic asceticism appears in the "Babad Cirebon" and local folklore, which recount the continuation of ascetic traditions such as meditation practiced by Islamic disseminators on Mount Kumbang. Cultural reconciliation between pre-Islamic asceticism and Islamization is also evident in historical narratives, oral sources, and the culture of the community on the slopes of Mount Kumbang, such as taboos, the "ngasa" ritual, and religious practices that exhibit archaic characteristics and are well-documented in historical sources from both the colonial period and the present. The ascetic community has also politically contributed to Islamization by being portrayed as peacefully accepting Islamization, albeit not fully in its entirety. The ascetic community has been utilized as agents to depict the acceptance of Islam, even though it was not shown through perfect Islamic practices. The conclusion of this research indicates the continuity of ascetic practices from pre-Islamic traditions to Islamic traditions, as recorded in historical sources from the Islamic, colonial, and contemporary periods.
2024-08-07T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Dani Sunjana, Etty Saringendyanti, Widyo Nugrahanto (Author)https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3511Gaya Arsitektur Rumah Istri Sultan Amaluddin Tengku Khalijah di Kota Maksum2024-08-02T11:31:05+00:00Hafiz Zuhdihafiz0602202021@uinsu.ac.idYusra Dewi Siregaryusradewisiregar@uinsu.ac.id
Kota Maksum is an elite area that was once the residence of the nobles of the Deli Sultanate since the royal family moved from the palace in Labuhan to the Maimun Palace in 1891. One of the efforts undertaken is to increase the provision of urban green spaces and restore the function of the GBK City Forest as a public green open space (GOS). However, there has been no research showing the public's perspective and satisfaction with the utilization of the GBK City Forest. This study aims to determine the level of public satisfaction with the GBK City Forest based on social-cultural functions. The assessment indicators used to measure public satisfaction in this study are based on the theory of cultural ecosystem services developed by Shijie Gai et al. The data used in this study were obtained using mixed methods data collection techniques through questionnaires (quantitative) as well as in-depth interviews and literature studies (qualitative). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the majority of the public is highly satisfied with the utilization of the social-cultural functions of the GBK City Forest. However, some people still complain about the lack of supporting facilities for recreational activities and the disturbances from external parties that make them feel uncomfortable when engaging in activities at the GBK City Forest. The objectives are (1) to provide input to the Bojonegoro Regency Government on the extent of achievements in the quality of life of its people and (2) to evaluate human development through efforts to improve the achievement of each indicator, including Life Expectancy, Expected Years of Schooling, Average Years of Schooling and per capita Purchasing Power of the people of Bojonegoro Regency. This research employs a mixed-method approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative research. Successful human development is characterized by providing opportunities for people to enjoy a long and healthy life and lead a productive life. The purchasing power of the community positively influences the increase in Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), which in turn positively impacts the increase in Life Expectancy. Improvements in education can raise public awareness of the importance of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior. Thus, PHBS itself can mediate and strengthen purchasing power and average years of schooling, thereby influencing the increase in Life Expectancy. Conclusions (1) The HDI of Bojonegoro Regency from 2020 to 2023 experienced an average increase of 0.54 points. In 2023, the HDI was 71.80, with the achievement of each indicator as follows Life Expectancy was 74.72 Expected Years of Schooling was 12.92 Average Years of Schooling was 7.45 and per capita Purchasing Power was Rp. 10,776,000. (2) The projected HDI for 2024 is 72.53, an increase of 0.73 points, with the HDI indicators being Life Expectancy at 75.01, Expected Years of Schooling at 13.04, Average Years of Schooling at 7.51, and per capita Purchasing Power at Rp. 11,263,000.
2024-09-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Markus Patiung, Ernawati Ernawati (Author)https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3053Flouting Conversational Maxims In The Rom-Com Movie The Kissing Booth 22024-01-22T05:32:16+00:00Western Dohansdohans082@gmail.comPutu Nur Ayomiargiaglobal@gmail.com
To create effective communication, individuals must adhere to the four conversational maxims or principles of cooperation. However, in the world of movies, language use tends to be more varied, and sometimes not subject to the norms of language politeness and the context of language use. As a result, the information conveyed can be unclear and ambiguous, which in turn leads to violations of the conversational maxims. The purpose of this study is to analyze the types of flouting maxims found in The Kissing Booth 2 Movie and to identify the reasons behind the flouting maxim since it is very important to make communication as effective as possible. In this study, the researcher used a theory proposed by Grice in Levinson in analyzing the types of flouting maxims and the theory proposed by Leech in analyzing the reason behind the flouting maxim that occurs in the movie. This study used a descriptive qualitative method to provide a deeper understanding of the flouting maxim and the reasons for flouting. The data were collected from the conversations that occurred among the characters in The Kissing Booth 2 Movie. The results found that there were violations of the maxims of quantity, quality, relevance, and manner committed by the characters. Relevance violations are less frequent (8.3%) and typically occur when characters fail to shift topics in response to specific questions. Intriguingly, maxim violations do not invariably yield negative outcomes, as characters collaborate to convey their intended meanings smoothly. This collaborative approach is particularly prevalent (65%), signifying that characters often flout maxims when illocutionary goals diverge from social goals. Ultimately, the study concludes that the flouting maxim of quantity prevails, and collaborative reasons dominate as the most common motivation behind maxim deviations.
2024-09-06T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Western Dohans, Putu Nur Ayomi (Author)https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/ganaya/article/view/3496Collaborative Governance dalam Mewujudkan Kota Singkawang Sebagai Kota Tertoleran Tahun 20232024-08-02T11:25:42+00:00Meiga Dwi Prihatiningsihmeigadwi1505@gmail.comNandang Alamsah Deliarnoornandang.alamsyah@unpad.ac.idRina Hermawatiargiagloball@gmail.com
Tolerance is one of the essential pillars in creating a harmonious and inclusive society, particularly in a city with ethnic and cultural diversity like Singkawang. The primary issue identified is the inadequate development of infrastructure, which hinders the companies' ability to compete effectively in an increasingly competitive market. A qualitative approach employing the Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) was used to evaluate and identify the most relevant strategies to address the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities presented by the digital era. The findings reveal that Islamic insurance companies require a set of integrated infrastructure development strategies. The recommended strategies include, (1) Developing differentiated products tailored to market needs, which can expand the customer base and enhance product appeal, (2) Enhancing human resource professionalism through continuous training and competency development to strengthen internal capabilities and respond to market dynamics, (3) Optimizing corporate governance by implementing advanced digital technologies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality and (4) Intensifying product promotion efforts and increasing consumer literacy, including more aggressive education about the benefits of Islamic insurance to raise public awareness and understanding. In conclusion, the implementation of these strategies is crucial for supporting the long-term growth of Islamic insurance companies.
