This research uses descriptive qualitative research by utilising data sources from books, articles, and related journals. The data collection technique was carried out by reviewing and analysing documents from several universities that have implemented the programme. The result of this study is that the universities that became the sample in the evaluation of MBKM implementation did not all implement the programme. Although there are universities that implement the programme, the percentage is still low. Therefore, universities need to do several things to improve it: 1) socialisation and inspire/motivate students to get involved in the programme. One of the strategies that can be anticipated to overcome the difficulties in producing outcomes that are aware of scientific and technological advances and able to compete in global progress is to design programme policies; 2) involve cooperation with several partners outside the college to equip students with MBKM programme experiences that are in accordance with student preferences; 3) colleges need to pay attention to the interests of students in implementing MBKM programmes, especially internship programmes that require extra funds. In addition, to support this programme, it is necessary to innovate learning models, collaborate with partners outside the campus, and adjust the study programme curriculum to be more adaptive in preparing graduates for the world of work.
Milwan Milwan Suharno Suharno Danang Prasetyo Copyright (c) 2024 Milwan Milwan, Suharno Suharno, Danang Prasetyo https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-08-05 2024-08-05 2 3 234 246 10.37329/ijms.v2i3.3167 The Pentahelix Role in Tourism Destination Management Sebangau National Park Palangka Raya City https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/IJMS/article/view/3233
The existence of Sebangau National Park in Central Kalimantan is a government effort to save and protect ecosystems that have started to deteriorate in the Sebagau area due to logging, poaching, and forest burning for land clearing conducted illegally by the community. In addition to these problems, the existence of Sebangau National Park is also to minimize the impact caused by global warming in the form of high air temperatures, which can trigger forest and peatland fires which occur almost every year in Palangka Raya City. Forest fires can damage ecosystems, releasing carbon and greenhouse gases into the atmosphere so that they can pollute water, soil and air. In addition, the smoke produced can also interfere with public health. The involvement of Pentahelix actors in the management of the Sebangau National Park tourism destination in Palangka Raya City is to make tourism at this destination sustainable. This research is designed as qualitative research supported by quantitative data, often referred to as a mixed method. Data collection was conducted through observation, semi-structured interviews, document studies, and questionnaires. The analysis method used in this study is Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) to map the role of Pentahelix with three elements consisting of: actor elements, need elements, and constraint elements. The ISM analysis results identified the main actors in the management of the Sebangau National Park tourism destination in Palangka Raya City as the Sebangau National Park Office in Palangka Raya City (government) and the Getek Maju Mandiri Group (community). The primary need in management is the Pentahelix collaboration and sustainable ecotourism. The main constraints in management are the incomplete availability of facilities and infrastructure and the lack of coordination between the government, private sector, and community.
Ni Nyoman Ayu Wilantari Indayati Lanya I Wayan Suardana I Made Adikampana Copyright (c) 2024 Ni Nyoman Ayu Wilantari, Indayati Lanya, I Wayan Suardana, I Made Adikampana https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-08-05 2024-08-05 2 3 247 264 10.37329/ijms.v2i3.3233 Analysis of The Use of Problem-Based Learning Model in Improving Learning Outcomes of Hindu Religious Education in Grade V Students of UPT SD Negeri 6 Arawa Sidrap https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/IJMS/article/view/2607
The learning process does not teach students to work together in groups, resulting in less active learning. Students also lack the critical thinking skills required to solve problems. This issue arises due to teachers' lack of knowledge and the absence of innovative learning models. Consequently, it leads to low student learning outcomes, necessitating research to examine this matter. The objective of this study is to analyze the implementation of a problem-based learning model in improving the learning outcomes of Hindu religious education in grade V students of UPT SD Negeri 6 Arawa, Sidrap Regency. The research approach employed is qualitative research with the type of library research. Data sources include books, scientific journals, magazines, newspapers, and other relevant information. The informants were selected based on their relevance to the topic under study. Research instruments comprised books, scientific journals, and other relevant documents. The data collection technique employed was documentation study, while qualitative content analysis was used for data analysis. The findings indicate that the problem-based learning model is an appropriate choice for teachers who wish to develop students' analytical abilities, enable them to apply existing knowledge in new situations, and encourage independent and responsible problem-solving skills. This model enhances students' critical, analytical, systematic, and logical thinking abilities, enabling them to find alternative solutions to problems through empirical data exploration, ultimately fostering a scientific attitude. In conclusion, the use of problem-based learning models can improve learning outcomes in Hindu religious education in grade V students of UPT SD Negeri 6 Arawa Sidrap.
Rosmidah Langka I Putu Suarnaya Copyright (c) 2024 Rosmidah Langka, I Putu Suarnaya https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-08-05 2024-08-05 2 3 265 271 10.37329/ijms.v2i3.2607 Leaving Performance-Oriented Goal (Ranking) Based Education To Improve Student Learning Motivation https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/IJMS/article/view/2320
Society believes that ranking can be extrinsic motivation for students to improve learning performance, achievement, and student achievement. Ranking also makes it easier for schools to find out the quality of schools, formulate policies, and select colleges to enter. On the other hand, ranking triggers "competition" not only among students, but also between parents. The pressure that children feel to always "achieve" in this case to win in class, is also getting higher. However, reflecting on the quality of Indonesian education, the rankings did not function as expected. This can be seen from the results of the 2018 PISA test which showed Indonesia was ranked 72nd out of 77 countries. The research aims to understand the purpose and effectiveness of the learning process based on performance-oriented goals in education and to find alternative learning methods that are more effective in motivating students through learning process orientation. The method used in this research is library research, namely research carried out by reading, studying and recording various literature or reading materials that are appropriate to the subject matter. The results of the study explain that basically ranking is no longer relevant for use in schools because it will encourage performance-oriented goals in students. This condition is exacerbated by the infrastructure, facilities, and number of teaching staff that are not in line with the existing learning demands. There is a need for a system change that is more oriented towards learning-oriented goals to maximize the learning process and revive students' interest in learning.
Mahitri Wiyani Rai Saba Titin Sutarti Copyright (c) 2024 Mahitri Wiyani Rai Saba, Titin Sutarti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-08-05 2024-08-05 2 3 272 282 10.37329/ijms.v2i3.2320 Enhancement of Motivation to Learn Hinduism in Students of SMKN 1 Sukawati Gianyar https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/IJMS/article/view/2257
Education of religion has contributed to the achievement of national education goals. In this case, there are four components of educational goals whose achievement become the burden of religious education which means they also become the burden of religion teachers, namely having religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, and noble character. Thus, how great the contribution of religious education and religion teachers in the effort to realize the expected educational goals is. Religious education functions to prepare students to become members of society who understand and practice the values of religious teachings and become experts in religious knowledge as well as increase student learning motivation in studying Hinduism as an effort to contribute to realizing national education goals in Indonesia. Educators can find out the factors that influence student motivation to study Hinduism subjects in school and outside of school because in essence religious people are expected to understand and know the religious teachings adhered to by the humans themselves. The study on the enhancement of motivation among Hindu students in participating in the Hinduism learning process in school was carried out by using observations, interviews, and document studies to obtain qualitative and quantitative data in the form of opinions related to learning problems to increase student’s motivation at SMKN 1 Sukawati Gianyar vocational school. Thus, educators use and improve the curriculum, the competence of Hinduism teachers, student’s motivation, teaching materials, learning models, learning media, facilities and infrastructure, learning environment and school culture towards efforts in implementing the curriculum, applying contextual learning models, increasing the competence of Hinduism teachers, preparing contextual teaching materials, providing learning infrastructure and media, conditioning the learning environment and school culture which is educative as well as praying on full moon and new moon continuously.
Ida Bagus Putra Sanjaya Putu Budiadnya Copyright (c) 2024 Ida Bagus Putra Sanjaya, Putu Budiadnya https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-08-05 2024-08-05 2 3 283 297 10.37329/ijms.v2i3.2257 The Existence of Hyang Waringin Temple in Kubu Customary Village https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/IJMS/article/view/2302
A harmonious relationship with God can be realized by thanking, devotion (Bhakti), and belief (Sraddha). This movement of existence is like a mill wheel, like the turning of a wheel that expects the second to be below and above, according to setting goals and collisions. Karmaphala is classified into three parts: Sancita Karmaphala, Prarabda Karmaphala, and Kriyamana Karmaphala. The literary sources end with the doctrine adopted by Hindus to navigate the sea of lifestyle. As new knowledge, it demands humans to make choices quickly. Thinking about how people behave is suggested to accommodate this. However, many are trapped by preferences to follow trends that forget the noble values of faith. This research technique was descriptive qualitative, using sources that could be applied to the research. This study aimed to determine the perspectives of the concept of Hinduism teachings, especially Karmaphala, as the law of reason and influence in the pillars of Hinduism.
I Ketut Mara Pandeyana Ida Bagus Gede Raditya Oka Dharma Copyright (c) 2024 I Ketut Mara Pandeyana, Ida Bagus Gede Raditya Oka Dharma https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-08-05 2024-08-05 2 3 310 320 10.37329/ijms.v2i3.2333 Transitioning to Post-Pandemic Learning Modes https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/IJMS/article/view/2284
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought a major shift toward educational system in Indonesia. The face to face interaction in classroom was forced to change in online classroom. Despite some major challenges in adapting to the new situation during the pandemic, recent studies have shown that teachers are getting used to it. After approximately two years of adaption to online learning, as the government of Indonesia officially declares that social distancing and restrictions to people’s activity is null and void. This means that teachers need to shift once again to offline instructional process. Even though the instructional process is shifting back, there is still unanswered questions regarding the readiness of the teacher to teach offline since many scholars state that it is impossible to leave the technology behind. This study employs a quantitative survey design to examine the readiness of teachers during the transition of learning process after pandemic from their perspective. There are 15 teachers involved in this study who have passed the criteria to be subjects of the study. The findings and discussion of this study is hoped to give contribution to the knowledge of continuous professional development, technological acceptance model, and technological and pedagogical content knowledge.
Ni Luh Putu Eka Darma Patni Dewi Ayu Wisnu Wardani Copyright (c) 2024 Ni Luh Putu Eka Darma Patni, Dewi Ayu Wisnu Wardani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-08-05 2024-08-05 2 3 321 333 10.37329/ijms.v2i3.2284 The Influence of The Use of Audio-Visual Media on The Ability of Fraction Calculation Operations of Grade IV Students of SD Negeri 4 Amparita Sidrap https://jayapanguspress.penerbit.org/index.php/IJMS/article/view/2429
This study examines the effect of the use of audio-visual media on the ability of fraction calculation operations of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Amparita. This is usually due to interference, both from internal student factors which are limited to intelligence factors and external student factors. There are two types of learning difficulties, namely pre-academic learning difficulties including: motor and perceptual disorders, cognitive learning difficulties, language development disorders, and difficulties in completing social behavior. While academic learning difficulties include difficulties in reading, writing, and arithmetic. In overcoming these problems, it is important to conduct tutoring in reducing student learning difficulties in the elementary school environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the implementation of tutoring services in reducing the learning difficulties of elementary school students in Amparita village. The research location is Independent Tutoring in Amparita Village. This selection is related to the characteristics of the research subjects, namely tutoring mentors who have a Bachelor of Education background who have implemented tutoring services. The research method used a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The result of the research is that the implementation of tutoring services can help students reduce learning difficulties. The tutoring services provided are integrated with the subject matter (when learning takes place), so that no specific service material is prepared but the mentor provides students with material according to the lessons at school. In its implementation, sometimes the mentor provides it with a cooperative learning model so that students can learn from each other and share with other students to achieve the goals of a particular learning. The success of the implementation of tutoring services in reducing learning difficulties is that students show an increased interest in learning, do and collect assignments on time and can concentrate by paying attention to the subject matter provided by the teacher.
Harmi T I Wayan Jatiyasa Copyright (c) 2024 Harmi T, I Wayan Jatiyasa https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-08-05 2024-08-05 2 3 345 355 10.37329/ijms.v2i3.2434
